Job Fairs: Are they worth it?
One of the Wall Street Journal‘s “laid-off M.B.A.” bloggers asked the question recently of whether attending a job fair is really worth it. A former relationship manager at J.P. Morgan, he reached the personal conclusion—after attending a single event in a bar—that he had “not missed much by not going to job fairs. It is still all about networking.”
Which raises the obvious question: what do you think? We’d love to hear your comments, whether you’ve found success at a fair or have come to loathe the very idea of them. Let us know in the comment field below.
